A Month of Thanksgiving: Day 3

Today I am thankful for rest. This past week was tiring and getting to sleep in on Saturday was a blessing. I am also thankful for home cooked meals. I woke up to Damarise making french toast for us. (yum!) And I had fun making homemade chicken noodle soup and dinner rolls for supper.

Today I am also thankful for Megan. She came by our house to do homework and nap. I love when friends pop in! We ate dinner together, played scrabble, and found out the best news ever. 

This news is probably what I am most thankful for today. My old RA, Virginia is finally engaged to her... now fiancé, Kevin! Ah! When we heard the news we freaked out! I am SO thankful! They are two of the kindest people and knowing that they are engaged is the greatest thing. We of course had to celebrate, so we called up Davey and Zach (since Kevin was their RA) and we all celebrated together by eating ice cream and watching a movie. 

All in all, it was a wondrous Saturday with so many blessings to thank God for. He is wonderful!

Bennetts

Saturday morning the Bennetts had us over for breakfast, lunch... and dinner :) It was a fun day spent with the Bennett family!! :)

We had some delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast :) Mmm Mmm good!

For lunch we had watermelon. I'm not a huge watermelon fan, but this was delicious!

The Emises

The Emises had us over for a bbq. The food was delicious and visiting was great! Thank you Emises for the great time and the delicious food!

Fun with Meredith!

Meredith took us girls out for a fun afternoon! :) We went walking around the Promenade (an outdoor mall), went into some fun shops like Bath and Bodyworks. Yum! They have some good smelling stuff! We also went into a cookware shop :) They have some cool utensils for cooking. Like a mango pitter! How cool is that?!

After looking around in stores we went out to Taco Bell! Yum! I love Taco Bell's tacos!

After a tasty lunch we headed off to put-put golf!!! :D Meredith was amazing at it!

The Kings

Monday we got to have a meal and visit with the Kings :) It was nice to hang out with them and catch up on what's been going on :)

AQ Chicken

Sunday we went to FBC (Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale). That's the church we went to when we lived in Arkansas for 8 years. Oh! It was SO nice to be back! It definitely feels like home there. :) It was a wonderful morning with wonderful teaching and the best thing of all... it was all in English! I could understand every single word of it! It was so wonderful!

Anyways, after church we went out to lunch with some of the couples from church. We went to AQ Chicken! Mmmm, that is the best restaurant! And it's only in Arkansas. :)
