Trip out West: Kansas

Early Thursday morning we were once again on the road. This time bound out west, but not before stopping off to visit with some wonderful friends in Kansas. :)

The Brock family had us over for lunch and then we hung out there to visit! It was so great to catch up with Mindy and Justin. :D

The whole Brock family (Mr. and Mrs. Brock, Justin, Mindy, Zachary, Joseph, Shiloh, Ben, and Nathaniel) What a WONDERFUL family!!

As soon as we got back from the Brocks the Freissens had a meal ready for us :) It was nice to visit with them and the pastor's family.

On The Road Again!

"On the road again.... Just can't wait to get on the road again..."

Seems like whenever we are in the State we can't help it but to travel all over the place. And we can't go breaking what seems to be tradition, now can we?

Nope! We're hitting the road again tomorrow morning, this time bound for California! Yep, California is right. All the Turnbull clan is getting together for a family reunion in Lake Tahoe, California! I can't wait! We haven't all been together as a family since the cruise in '06.

Along the way to California we are stopping by Kansas to visit friends. Then we'll stop in Colorado to celebrate the 4th of July with one of Dad's cousins. So it should be a fun road trip! :) Yeah!

Last Sunday at FBC

Sunday was our last Sunday at FBC... at least until the next time we are back in Arkansas. So, here are some of the shots we got during our last Sunday.

Bennetts

Saturday morning the Bennetts had us over for breakfast, lunch... and dinner :) It was a fun day spent with the Bennett family!! :)

We had some delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast :) Mmm Mmm good!

For lunch we had watermelon. I'm not a huge watermelon fan, but this was delicious!

The LaTour Family

The LaTours opened up their space to us while we were down in Arkansas. It was such a joy to be able to stay on their property! Thank you LaTours for the meals, picking us up from places, and just being friends to hang out! :D We had a WONDERFUL time with y'all!

The Kelloggs had us over for an amazing meal Friday night. Mmm, Mrs. Kellogg made this amazing frozen fruit thing. I love fruit!! :)

After the delicious dinner other people came over to listen to Dad talk about African Christian University. The Robinsons were one of the couples who came over. It was great to see Mrs. Robinson again! (And Dr. Robinson... but we had just seen him the day before :) )

The Kelloggs also had a Wii at their house so we had some fun playing on that :)

Dr. Robinson was the bowling pro!! He got three strikes in a row and for all the rest if he didn't get a strike he got a spare! It was incredible!
