Budapest

Budapest – the capital city of Hungary, cited as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe (according to Wikipedia), and my future home for the month of May.

Yes, home - May - Budapest. You read that right.

I still can't quite believe it myself, but it is true. Budapest is where I will be spending my May this year. God has opened up the doors to allow me to go to Budapest this May with a small group of education students from Covenant College. We are going to intern at a local Christian school – International Christian School of Budapest. It will be an amazing opportunity to get hands-on experience in teaching missionary kids and others overseas, which is what I would love to do when I graduate.

So, the Traveling Banana will once again have bags packed and passport in hand, living up to the Traveling Banana name. Only this time I won't be heading a state away, but rather an entire ocean away. I cannot wait to be back in Europe. I love Europe in the Spring!

As of now, I'm a little hazy on all the details of the trip, so I'm sorry for the lack of information. But if you all think of it, could you please start praying for me now? This is taking me way outside of my comfort zone. Being an ocean away from everything and everyone I know will definitely be hard, but I cannot wait to see all that God has in store for me! It will be a great experience and I am trusting in Him.

Wow! That's really cool! I'm excited for you. (And also nervous for you.)

Keep me updated when the time comes so I can pray for you.

Wow, Hannah! That's is so neat that your going to be doing this! I'll definitely be praying for you. And of course, as Laura said, keep us updated about it all. I couldn't imagine doing something like that (at least at this point in my life =). Oh, and please do take lots of pictures for your blog when you're there ;) What are Damarise's plans for May?
