Family Vacation: Day 2-Elizabeth, Colorado

Day Two of our family vacation. We were bound for our first "home" for a week–Elizabeth, Colorado.

Along the way we pulled off in another Kansas town to check out some of their attractions. They had this HUGE Van Gogh painting. A Canadian guy apparently is or did 7 replicas of Van Gogh's sunflower painting and wants to place them on each of the 7 continents. So this is the only one in all of North America :)

While in the town we visited a museum.

An old classroom :)

Horse.

Damarise and Andrew in a beauty salon ;)

A tiny one room school house :D

And because of some of these rules I'm glad I'm not a teacher in 1915. Check it out!

  2. You are not to keep company with men.

We stopped at a rest stop in Colorado for lunch :)

And looked through all the pamphlets of touristy things to do.

We finally made it to the town of Elizabeth! :D
