Being Separate from the World...

Yesterday, we couldn't go to church cause the plumber and pedreiro were here. So instead we listened to a sermon from our home church, FBC. Actually it was the same one that dad was there for last sunday, so that was pretty neat:) Anyways, Pr. G was talking about not being part of the world. We need to be seperate from it!!!... 1 Peter 3:10"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare."..... talked about Jesus returning to bring us Home and the world and all the elements in it will be destroyed by fire!!! If we are attatched to the world and the things of the world then when that day comes we will be burned up in the fire as well! We need to be seperate from the world! Then in 1 Peter 3:11"Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives".... If were gunna be separate from the world than we ought to live holy and godly lives. In everything we do!!! it ought to bring glory and honour to God! anyways, that just really struck me... and made me start thinking about how I'm living... am I living a holy and godly life... or am I attatched to the world? ....
