Safari Salon

This weekend us youth group girls (minus Zoe *she's in South Africa* and Esther *who was sick :(* ) Decided to have a salon type thing for the missionary ladies here!  We spent Friday night there and planned stuff out :) All the youth group boys were over there too playing computer games ;)

Sparkle, the Woodrow's very spoiled dog ;) hehe, she's not even a year old yet and loves getting pet and doted upon!

Us girls having our almost-midnight snack ;) Tacos! Yum!

The next morning we baked some stuff and made veggie platters :)

And the boys were still staring at their computer screens ;)

Aw! Sarah and Sparkle, both smiling away :)

The food on the table :) Mmm!

Since we had six girls and 2 chairs, we decided to break up into teams. Damarise, Bethy and Sarah worked together and Sylvia, Gracie and I did. Sylvia would start out rubbing and cleaning the hands. Sylvia would be rubbing the back, and I would wash and massage the feet. Then Sylvia would paint the toe nails, I would massage the hands and Gracie would rub the back. Then Sylvia would paint the finger nails, I'd rub the back and gracie would rub the feet. :) It was a lot of fun!

Working away :)

Gracie led a lil' lesson with some of the young girls that were there :)

And then we got to paint their nails. :) hehe, my hands get sorta shaky when I do finger nails, but Avery didn't mind, she would just crack up whenever I got it on her skin ;) hehe.

The Girls! :)

It was a blast getting to treats all the ladies to some relaxing time! :) They definitely deserve it!

The Woodrow's have magnetic letters on their fridge and everyone always tries to use up all the letters to make a huge, real word... Well, I think Dad won! He wrote out a chemistry word and used up most of the letters! His word was : 4S Metaquinylpheroxide

Hehe, Mom and Kent doing dishes :)

All in all, it was a super fun day! And we learned a lot about how to do nails etc. :) Thank you to everyone who helped and came to get pampered! We had a blast!
