A Mozambican Easter

For Easter this year, we went to our Mozambican church. It was nice, not that I could really understand it all, but they had a lot of singing:) They sing so well. All a capella but beautiful!!!

Here's a pic of an African's hair! I love how many different ways there are to wear it!

And an adorable lil' Russian/Mozambican girl:) She is beautiful!

After church, we went to a friends farm for and Easter lunch and service with the other missionaries here. It was a nice time of fellowshipping:)

The youth group led the worship. I love easter songs:) And it was really neat to play outside, surrounded by God's creation!

And that was basically our day:) Easter... a day of hope:) That's the only reason we have hope is becuase Jesus paid the price to buy us all freedom. To give us hope that one day He would come back and we will be able to spend eternity with Him. Not because of anything we have done, but becuase of His sacrifice and ressurection that day so long ago. Thank you Lord!!!

Ps- This is a weird/random thought. We weren't together as a family for Easter or Christmas this last year... well Christmas was 2007, but yah. Dad was gone a Christmas and Mom for Easter. strange.:P
