Treasure in jars of clay

Today in my quiet time I was reading in 2 Corinthians 4:6-9-"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
Isn't just amazing, astounding, simply indiscribable?! How Christ came to earth to die for us sinners AND He gives us His Holy Spirit to live within us!! We are jars of clay, pressed, perplexed, persecuted, struck down, but not crushed, not in despair, not abandoned, not destroyed, cause what really matters, our soul, is resting safe and secure in Christ. Clay jars do get destroyed, they don't last for ever, but what is inside of us no one can destroy! Our body is just a shell of our spirit, we'll die one day, but our spirit will live on. Christ made His light shine in our hearts and if we are fellowshipping with Him it'll reflect through our lives so that, through us, Christ may have all the glory and honour that He deserves! So, as Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:18-"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." I hope that is true for all of us!!!!
