Here.

So, I believe I said that I would write before I got back to Covenant, but that didn't happen. Whoops. So, here I am writing right before the business of classes begins. I got moved into my room yesterday. It is wonderful to be back! It was definitely sad to have to say goodbye to the family, but Covenant is feeling more and more like home :) I was telling a friend the other day that this is the first time that I have ever moved away from a place and then come back to live (in the exact same house.. or room in this case) within a three month span. It is wonderful. It's great to reconnect with friends, see familiar faces, and adjust back to life.

Hopefully I will keep my blog updated more than last school year. But we shall see how the semester progresses. Until next time... whenever that may be :)

Hello Arkansas!

We are in Arkansas!!! Our used to be home. :) It's nice being back! The LaTour's are letting us stay at their place :D Which is super nice! They're such a sweet family :) One thing though that still is strange for me is to be staying at a place about a two minutes drive from our old home... feels like we should be living there again. :P Oh well. Anyways, I'm sure pictures will come... although, depending on how busy we are, I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update. So, from Arkansas, Goodnight :)

Homeward Bound

Well, we couldn't enjoy our vacation forever, and eventually hit the road again, this time bound for home. Well, we left the place we were staying at (in Nelspruit) at 5 and didn't get out of the town till 7. Yah, we got lost. We were kinda frustrated about that, but God had a plan all along. We got to the border crossing and there was a long line! We didn't know that that day all the Mozambicans were fleeing South Africa due to all the violence there. Anyways, if we had gotten to the border right when it had opened, we would have been in the middle of a mad rush. Instead, God let us get lost so that we would get to the border late and see the HUGE like and decide to try the other border. Well, the other one was the South Africa/Swaziland border. Everything went smoothly and we got through fine. And it was exciting to get another stamp in our passports:) Then we drove through Swaziland till we hit Mozambique, it was about an extra 2 hours, but nothing compared to the long hours we would have had to wait at the other border crossing! God is good! And His plans are amazing!
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD,' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"-Jeremiah 29:11

While driving we crossed over the Tropic of Capricorn! So cool!

A very quaint place we stayed at:) It was like Jungle Camp all over again:)

Our car:)

Early morning road.

The normal view of the road... except with large potholes :)

Dad, our expert driver!

Back in town! This is a lil' bit of the town we live in:)

We got home last Friday, and are now back on a schedule:) Yeah!

Mom is HOME!!

Wednesday, Mom came home!! :) She had a LONG flight!! About 3 days! Yah, that's long! Anyways, it has been sooo nice to have her back! It's like a huge burden lifted off me:) Although, now that I know how much she does and how hard it is, I'm definitely going to be offering my help more often! All in all, it is nice to be a family again, to sit around the table and have everyone there! And it's nice to have both parents here:) :)
The red carpet entry for mom;) Just kidding, we aren't sure who it was for, but it was next to a private jet... hmm someone rich!

Mom coming off the plane:) Can you spot her? :) She's waving:)

Dad and Mom's hug:) Yeah!!! Back together at last!

Thank you everyone for your prayers for Mom and Dad and us kiddos while Mom's been gone!! They have helped more than you will ever know!!! Thank you!
